National Science Day was celebrated at The ICFAI University Sikkim on 28th February 2020. The day is celebrated to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by the great Indian physicist Sir CV Raman on February 28, 1928.
The event was organized as per the Ministry of Human Resource Development. As a part of the occasion events like essays, painting, and quiz competitions were organized for the students. The topic for the competition was “Path-breaking innovations and scientific achievements from India for humankind/innovation and entrepreneurship.”
The event witnessed the participation of many students. The aim of the activity was to allow them an opportunity to show their talents and interests.
